Putting anolon or calpholon pans in the dishwasher?

Why cant you wash anolon/calpholon products in the dishwasher? I remember seeing it in the instruction manual a long time ago and since then I’ve been washing by hand. Its just a bother because we use the dishwasher alot and have no need for a dryer rack.
I have Calphalon and put them in the dishwasher - I guess I never read that I shouldn’t! I haven’t had any problems though! All my pans are still in great shape.
